Happy Tuesday to all. The hot rumor this morning is that Kevin Garnett may be on his way to the Los Angeles Lakers in a multi-team deal. Pairing Kobe Bryant are Garnett together would certainly make the Lakers a legitimate contender in the talented Western Conference.
But what kind of pieces are needed to make this a reality? Chad Ford of ESPN reports that it all hinges on finding a fourth team to take Jermaine O'Neal and give the Minnesota Timberwolves enough in return. While Ford says the Celtics could be that fourth team, The Boston Globe says it's unlikely that O'Neal will ever wind up there.
This would certainly go down as one of the biggest trades in NBA history. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune says talks will continue today, and that details seem to be changing every hour.
Do you think there's a combination that makes this trade work?
