Andrew Alberg of The Hatchet is at it again, profiling Jack Kvancz's thoughts on GW's schedule for the upcoming season. Interesting stuff, especially the mention of the numerous Colonial Athletic Association schools. It's about time.
While we're on the topic, I don't know that the Atlantic 10 is superior to the CAA in terms of basketball. If you compare the two, each has placed five total teams in the NCAA Tournament over the last three seasons. However, the CAA has finished with a better conference RPI in two of those three years. It's a close call.
One thing that sticks out in the piece: it mentions Auburn as an away game. Is it possible that they've pulled out of the BB&T Classic? Just a few weeks ago, Kvancz said he was "99.9%" sure they would face the Colonials at the annual charitable event. I wish I was important enough to get the answer to such a question. Only time will tell.
