Men vs. Boston University: College Hoops 2K7 Simulation

After an impressive 72-50 victory by Greg over Julian in GW's first game on college hoops 2K7, Greg will look to go 2-0 as GW faces off against BU at 2:57 tomorrow afternoon.

Once again we will be live-blogging the game so stay tuned, and remember that the Colonials will be short-handed without backup point guard Johnny Lee who is out for two weeks. Peter Laplante was activated.

Update, 2.46 p.m. - We are less than 15 minutes from the tip of GW vs. Boston University. The Colonials will look to keep up their high energy after their exciting opening night victory. Starting line-ups to come in just a few minutes. As always, Julian will be playing as the opponent, BU Terriers, and Greg will be playing as the Colonials.

Update, 3.01 p.m. - Injury Report! On the first possession of the game, Carlos Strong is injured with a bruised sternum. Bonnie Bernstein will be reporting on his injury. Details to come.

Update, 3.18 p.m. - First half is all Colonials. The score is 45-9 Colonials. Maureece Rice leads the way with 10 points. Cheyenne Moore and Miles Beatty each have 7 and Rob Diggs has 4 points and 6 rebounds. For the Terriers, Max Gotzler has 2 points and 2 rebounds. Strong is doubtful to return and by some interesting turn of events, Cory Lowe cannot be subbed out of the game.

Update, 3.38 p.m. - And the Colonials win by a score of 78-36 led by the brilliant play of Travis King in the second half who had 11 points for 13 total. Four other Colonials were in double figures including Hermann Opoku, Maureece Rice, Noel Wilmore, and Miles Beatty. Rob Diggs was also a key contributor adding only 4 points but led the team in rebounds with 9. So the Colonials continue to roll and will enjoy a long layoff until their next game at UMBC on November 24. We'll have all the coverage right here so stay posted. Time to be announced later.
