Mystery of the world

Somehow, after not receiving a vote in any of the polls up to this point, the men's team received one vote in this week's Associated Press Poll despite losing at Maryland-Baltimore County on Saturday.

This is perhaps the most baffling things I've encountered in my time at GW. The only logical explanation I can think of is that the media member in question was actually voting for Gardner Webb (the other GW). However, the Runnin' Bulldogs are 3-4 (though their losses are to Oklahoma, Clemson, and Connecticut twice), so maybe not. I really don't know how this happened.

Interesting to note that Xavier is at #23 following an impressive win over then-#8 Indiana on Saturday.
