Joanna Shapes of The Hatchet is reporting that Maureece Rice did not practice yesterday and that coach Karl Hobbs had no comment when asked about the senior's status for Sunday's game against Longwood.
There have been rumors around campus in recent days that Rice's future with the team is very much in doubt. The officials I have spoken to have all declined comment.
Remember, Rice did not play in the second half of the team's loss to Binghamton, and he was suspended for the Maryland-Baltimore County game earlier this season. I guess we'll find out on Sunday. I'll post more when it becomes available. Stay tuned.
