While Saint Louis managed to eclipse the 20 point mark in the first eight and a half minutes, the outcome was still the same as GW defeated the Billikens 80-52. It was a coming out party for freshman miles Beatty who dropped 17 while every other Colonial was in single digits. Bryce Husak led the way for Saint Louis scoring 18 points and grabbing 8 rebounds but GW's pressure defense and constant 3-pt attack was too much for "skinny" Rick Majerus to handle.
