The kids don't stand a chance?

On the women's side, GW dropped to #17 in the Associated Press Poll and #16 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll this week.

On the men's side, LaSalle's 90-89 upset of St. Joseph's last night put another dent in GW's chances of qualifying for the Atlantic 10 Tournament. With a very difficult schedule to close the season, it seemed as though the Explorers were the best candidates for the Colonials to catch in the standings. However, LaSalle is now 5-5 in conference play, plus they own the tiebreaker over Karl Hobbs' squad. At 3-8, GW needs to pick off another squad in order to make the trip to Atlantic City. At the moment, there are four teams with six losses: Dayton (5-6), Massachusetts (5-6), Saint Louis (5-6), and Fordham (4-6).
