The men now control their own destiny in the race for a spot in the Atlantic 10 Tournament thanks to Xavier's 57-51 win over Dayton yesterday. At 4-8 in conference play, GW is a half-game behind Dayton (5-8) in the standings. However, since the Colonials hold the tiebreaker over the Flyers by virtue of a head-to-head win, Karl Hobbs' squad would get the nod should both teams finish with the same record. It is worth noting that the combined record of Dayton's three remaining opponents is 34-40 (.460), while GW's four remaining opponents have a combined record of 77-32 (.706).

As I mentioned yesterday, the women currently have the inside track to the top seed in the A-10 Tournament as we head into the final week of the regular season.
