Beck named A-10 Player of the Year

In a poll conducted by the the Atlantic 10 Conference coaches, point guard Kimberly Beck was named this year's Atlantic 10 player of the year.

Beck paced the conference in assists, averaging 6.32 per game, and became just the 11th player in NCAA Division-I women's basketball history to lead a conference in assists all four years. She was named to the First Team for the third-straight time, and was joined by teammate Jessica Adair. This season, Beck was second on the team in scoring (13.6 ppg). She has also been one of the best defenders in the conference; Beck's 2.14 steals per game led her to a spot on the All-A-10 Defensive team with teammate Whitney Allen.
