Day two of the women's Atlantic 10 Tournament has been delayed. WRGW's David Earl has an update:"We arrived at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse at about 11:50 a.m., and about two minutes from tip-off, leaks on the floor were discovered in at least three distinct places. The rain has been coming down hard and steady for at least 36 hours now, and the officials from the A-10 had been considering alternate locations for the tournament because the rain is predicted to come down hard for at least the next four hours.
They brought in a cherry picker, and suspended a towel from the ceiling with alligator clamps to catch the water. You'll see it in the pictures."
The word now is that the women's game vs. Rhode Island has been pushed back to six p.m. Here are pictures from the scene courtesy of Mr. Earl:
