Men at Temple: College Hoops 2K8 Simulation

We are back with a vengeance for this conference slate of games. While GW just is plain bad in real life, they are one hell of a team in college hoops. Julian is taking over as the Colonials while Greg will be Temple this afternoon. Here are the team's starting lineups:

For Temple:

F - Mark Tyndale
F - Craig Williams
F - Sergio Olmos

For GW:
G - Maureece Rice
G - Wynton Witherspoon
F - Damian Hollis
F - Cheyenne Moore
F - Rob Diggs

It was a hard fought battle, but the Colonials continue to win as they defeated Temple 69-59. Maureece Rice had a tremendous night scoring 29 points on 7-9 from behind-the-arc. Wynton Witherspoon had nine and Miles Beatty has picked up Karl Hobbs' offense with eight points off the bench. The Colonials avoided the 31 point explosion by Dionte Christmas but the holidays had passed for the Owls as the Colonials move to 14-3 on the season and are now ranked 17th. If only this game were real and meant something. Interesting to note how well the Colonials offense works in 2K8 when Beatty runs the point and you have to wonder if it will do any good to send Hobbs a copy of the game and play with Miles.
